A new Daily word resets every day — keep your streak alive. Weekly and Monthly challenges are randomized themed prompts with limited tools and larger gem payouts.
Daily, Weekly and Monthly prompts are pulled from curated, kid-friendly word pools — hundreds of words in all. The Daily pool is the broadest; Weekly and Monthly draw from their own themed sets, and each challenge randomizes its word so no two runs feel the same.
Tap the ▦ button on the canvas to open Layers — you can stack up to 3. Draw on the highlighted layer, tap another to switch, and use 👁 to show or hide one. ＋ Add layer puts a new layer on top, ⬇️ Merge down flattens the active layer into the one below it, and 🗑 removes a layer (the bottom paper layer always stays). Changed your mind? ↩️ Undo brings back a layer you just deleted or merged — but only until you draw again or add a new layer. Layers stack in the order you add them and can't be reordered — the ＋/⬇️/🗑 order is the order they render in. That's deliberate: replays and video export play your strokes back in the order you made them, so shuffling layers after the fact would scramble the playback.
After a drawing you pick where it goes — any combination of: Save to Phone (your camera roll), Gallery (your profile, where it stays until you remove it — 30 slots) and Showcase (that period's public feed). Your gallery is your own curated page; the showcase rotates each period.
Tap the flag on any Showcase entry to report inappropriate content. Reports are reviewed and offending posts are removed.
There are hidden brushes, patterns and palettes tucked away in SketchDuel — and the Daily canvas is where they hide.
Be patient: some only reveal themselves when a piece is finished, and only if it was made under certain conditions.
